Michelle Morton's interest in PR and media communication skills began with a career in filmmaking. For ten years she lived in Aspen, Colorado and produced, wrote scripts and edited half-hour films for the PBS wildlife series Wild America.

Later, while raising her two sons in North Carolina, she worked for a magazine publishing firm and earned her Master's degree in biology. In 2007, Morton launched her PR and publishing company Morton Arts Media, LLC. She now focuses her career on writing, designing and publishing books about fine art, science and education.

Living in Aspen while making wildlife documentaries, Morton gained unique experience in promoting the lives and careers of talented people and important causes through various media. As the Internet, computer design software and POD (Print-on-Demand) publishing opened up new markets and new mediums with which to reach audiences, Morton developed her creative technology skills accordingly. She now offers her clients a full range of publicity services from elegantly written and designed coffee table books to developing interactive websites.
